Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25 1944) was an American actress, voice-over actor and writer. Over the course of nearly 5 decades of her career, she amassed over 100 credits. Pleshette is a native of New York and began her stage career as an actor. Then, she made the gradual transition to film. The most well-known films of Pleshette include "Rome Adventure", "The Birds", "Fate Is the Hunter", If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium" as well as "Support Your Gunfighter in the Local Area. She had also played many roles on TV series and movies. Pleshette was nominated for Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Pleshette was awarded two nominations, and was awarded the Laurel Award, in 1963 for her film The Birds.' Pleshette, who died in 2008, was awarded the honor of a Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
