Charissa was born in Seattle Washington, United States on 4th May 1982. ESPN analyst who was hired the role of co-host on SportsNation in 2012. She was also co-host of the ABC show Splash along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson is a native of Seattle Washington. As the youngest of three kids, she knew she wanted to become a broadcaster at the age of three. She was a student at Inglemoor High School at Kenmore Washington. Thompson moved from Washington to California in order to enrol at one of the colleges for community students. Additionally, she was granted California residency. She later went to the University of California Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. in Law and Society in 2004. While Sports Illustrated wrote she left Washington State (WSU) to go to a community college in California prior to transferring into UC Santa Barbara Thompson has confirmed that she was not a student at WSU. Thompson was contacted by Sports Illustrated via email before she commenced her work as the sportscaster. They provided her with an opportunity to be sprayed using body paint in the purpose of a Swimsuit issue. Infinity was released by the New York based rock band Against the Current in 2014. YouTube was the platform where they first gained recognition through their cover art. Together with Against the Current did a collaboration with She and Against the Current did a collaboration with Alex Goot on the cover of Good Time by Owl City and Carly Rae jepsen.
